A smattering of my audio work at NAZ Today. The only live nightly local newscast in Northern Arizona. All the sound is controlled by me. Opening music, story tease music, anchors

And here’s a mess of bumpers, I.D.’s, commercials, and show intros I’ve done for radio stations, and Podcasts.

The Best of The Eric Paul Radiotrola Programfor Summer 2016

People often (and by often I mean never) ask me what was my favorite episode of The Eric Paul Johnson Radiotrola Program. My favorite non-anniversary episode was this one from November 30, 2012. It’s not high on funny, but as someone who loves to play with audio, I had a lot of fun turning a digital stereo recording into a mono midnight AM radio broadcast complete with atmospheric interference, and other radio stations bleeding over into the signal.
The premise was that I dug out one of my tapes from early in my radio career. I picked a show from when I worked overnights at WLS in Chicago in 1962 (7 years before I was born.)
Why WLS? No reason other than I stumbled across a site that had a mess of WLS jingles from 1960 to 1985 that were free to download.
